Awin is seeking a Senior Partnership Development Consultant to join their DACH Business Development team. The role involves developing and managing medium-to-large-scaled projects, selling service packages and products to publishers and strategic partners, and driving business growth through acquisition and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, sales, and online marketing, with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Purpose of Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated self-starter to join the DACH Business Development team at Awin. The Team is responsible for developing and selling new business as well as creating an excellent client service experience. The main focus of the team is to act as a consulting service for our own client services teams. The DACH Business Development Team are turned to as experts in different fields that drive the business. Therefore you will have a strong focus on project work on an interdisciplinary and cross-departmental level. We offer a dynamic and collaborative environment, closely interacting with teams throughout the company. In this role you will get the chance to steer and own the full lifecycle of projects and initiatives.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and manage medium-to-large-scaled projects including maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules and other project relevant documents
  • Sell and promote service packages and Awin products to publishers and strategic partners
  • Drive and develop business through acquisition and the development of new small, medium or large publishers for the Awin network in collaboration with the sales team
  • Identify & execute business development opportunities 
  • Build trust and credibility with your prospects by taking the time to understand their needs and provide thoughtful solutions by following a consultative selling approach
  • Build strong external customer understanding and meet customer needs through collaborative work with your colleagues
  • Support of the implementation of policies and processes, collection of best practices, create case studies in collaboration with the Marketing department, and deliver internal knowledge-sharing sessions to capture, and share knowledge on project outcomes and innovative practices 

 

Skills & Expertise

  • Experience owning and managing larger projects
  • Experience in a sales or business development environment
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite
  • Work experience in online marketing / affiliate marketing
  • Talent for sales and communication with a customer-centric mindset
  • Flexibility, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of actionable recommendations) 
  • Focused on detail and quality, while maintaining a positive and pragmatic approach
  • Excellent written and spoken German skills, very good written and spoken English skills
