Job Summary
Welocalize is seeking English (Canada) speakers to work as Search Quality Raters for their client's project. As a Search Quality Rater, you will use your understanding of people's intentions to improve the online search engine experience and provide subjective and objective ratings based on project rules and conventions. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule, with minimum 10 hours per week up to 20 hours per week. The pay rate is up to $15 gross per hour, but can be variable based on task complexity. To apply, you must be fully proficient in English (Canada), strong in popular culture, and dedicated to the Search Quality rating program only. You will need a reliable computer system and internet connection, as well as excellent online research skills. This is a remote opportunity with flexible hours, and you will have access to 24-hour support from Welocalize's Community team.
Requirements
- Fully Proficient in English (Canada)
- Strong understanding of English
- Must be located in Canada
- Strong understanding of popular culture in English (Canada)
- Must be dedicated only to "Search Quality rating program" and NOT other search or ads rating programs
- Must not have current or previous experience with "Ads quality rating"
- Web-savvy and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent online research skills
- Reliable computer system and internet connection
- Reliable anti-virus software (as you will be surfing the web as part of the work)
- Ability to follow instructions in English and comply with the project conventions and rules expected by the client
- Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect client confidentiality
- Must pass learning modules and a required quality test designed by our client before starting work
