Welo Data - AI Services is seeking skilled individuals to join their team as AI Data Annotators. As an AI Data Annotator, you will perform rating and annotation work essential to their AI development process. You will review Arabizi transliterations alongside Arabic words, select the most appropriate word, and provide accurate annotations. This is a temporary, part-time position with flexibility and potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate has full proficiency in Syrian Arabic, familiarity with Arabizi, advanced English skills, and strong attention to detail. You will work remotely and dedicate at least 15-20 hours per week to the project.

OVERVIEW
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as AI Data Annotators. In this role, you will be responsible for performing rating and annotation work that is essential to our AI development process. This is a temporary, part-time position, offering flexibility and the potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs.
MAIN DUTIES
- Review Arabizi transliterations alongside up to three Arabic words in the provided dialect.
- Select the most appropriate Arabic word corresponding to the Arabizi transliteration.
- Provide the correct Arabic word in their dialect if none of the given options are suitable.
- Accurately perform rating and annotation tasks as per project guidelines.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
- Meet project deadlines and contribute to team objectives.
Project Details
Schedule: from 20 hours to 40 hours per week
This is a freelance opportunity; the workload is based on project needs. Weekly hours may vary.

Qualifications

    • Full proficiency in Syrian Arabic
    • Familiarity with Arabizi (informal and conversational language used in casual contexts like social media & texting)
    • Advanced competency in English to follow instructions and communicate with our team
    • Ability to dedicate a minimum of 15-20 hours per week to the project
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Capability to perform sufficient research within the allocated time, working within short throughputs
    • Reliable computer system and internet connection
    • Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect client confidentiality
