Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptualization and creation of diverse branded graphic designs, including websites, advertising creatives, presentations, digital advertising campaigns, event branding designs, print materials, merchandise, and social media content, ensuring alignment with brand identity and strategic goals
- Maintain high standards of quality and creativity in design materials; present and defend design solutions effectively
- Mentor, motivate, and guide the design team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and professional growth
- Assist in the professional development of the design team by creating a competency matrix and planning for their growth
- Review artwork, designs, graphics, video and photography the creative team produces, offering feedback and deciding which components to use
Requirements:
- Significant experience in marketing, advertising and creative roles
- Understanding the requirements for art director roles
- Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Figma, and other relevant software; proficiency in AI tools for workflow optimization
- Proven experience leading the design of a wide array of marketing materials, from digital advertisements to comprehensive print campaigns
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design visions, present ideas clearly, ensure clarity in promotional materials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and partners
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market trends, technologies, and company goals; ability to quickly adjust to workload and marketing needs while optimizing team performance
- Capacity to think outside the box and deliver innovative design solutions that align with fintech market trends and customer needs
- Experience designing a wide range of marketing materials, from complex design systems and brand books to small print brochures
- Familiarity with project management software and processes
- Proven ability to address complex design challenges creatively and efficiently, ensuring that solutions align with user needs and business objectives; open to incorporating feedback and modifying designs based on project scope changes or strategic shifts
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, including an understanding of how crypto payment gateways work and the unique design challenges they present (a plus)
- Expertise in integrating design efforts into broader event marketing strategies to maximize attendance, engagement, and effective post-event follow-up
- Basic understanding of financial concepts to ensure designs communicate effectively within the context of financial transactions and services
