StackAdapt is seeking an Associate People Business Partner (US or Canada) to drive people-related initiatives across various departments. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, project execution, and proactive support for managers, employees, and team development. Collaborating with People Business Partners, the ideal candidate will work closely with departments to ensure alignment with company goals and values. They will also engage with Employee Experience teams, create team-building events, and foster a positive culture. The successful candidate should have 2+ years of experience in HR or Talent Acquisition, with a curiosity-driven mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with People Business Partners: Work closely with People Business Partners to execute people-related projects across all departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
- Trusted People Partner: Act as a trusted advisor on all People initiatives, working to strengthen StackAdapt’s culture and help deliver an environment that reflects the company’s values.
- Employee Relations: Engage with the Employee Experience team to address fundamental employee relations issues, provide context, develop plans, and keep managers informed as necessary.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Support the People Operations team to create and deliver team-building events and company-wide initiatives that foster a positive, growth-focused, and inclusive culture.
- Department Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned department groups, consulting with line management to provide guidance to people managers and directors.
- People Experience: Nurture effective partnerships through the employee experience, bridging the gap between management and individual contributors to ensure alignment and address concerns.
- Trends & Solutions Development: Analyze trends and collaborate with the People team to create programs, solutions, and opportunities for learning that enhance the employee experience and support organizational goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to the management of team members to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 2+ years of experience in HR or Talent Acquisition or a people-facing role, with a desire to transition into a People Business Partner (HRBP) role.
- Curiosity-driven mindset, with a passion for asking questions and continuously learning.
- Ability to think end-to-end and consider systems and processes from a holistic perspective.
- Comfortable having candid conversations and addressing difficult topics directly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across different departments.
- Experience supporting people managers and directors, providing guidance and acting as a strategic advisor.
- A background working with front-line teams is a plus.
- Experience in driving employee engagement and cultural initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and collaborate on solutions for continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
