Job Description
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Identifying donor segments for direct mail campaigns, finding new opportunities to segment and engage donors for maximum impact;
- Bringing a creative, data-driven approach to existing and new fundraising direct mail strategies, with a focus on revenue results;
- Leading the strategic planning and execution of offline fundraising initiatives for MissionWired clients; including primarily direct mail but may also include telemarketing;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling and targeted direct mail fundraising campaigns;
- Developing and managing fundraising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources;
- Analyzing fundraising performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement;
- Staying updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative approaches into fundraising efforts;
- Fostering relationships with key stakeholders (internal/external);
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the fundraising team, fostering professional growth and development.
Must-have qualifications:
- Desire to be part of a company committed to delivering groundbreaking results for mission-driven organizations and campaigns;
- 10+ years of direct response fundraising experience in an agency environment;
- Proficiency in communication and writing, demonstrating excellence in both areas;
- Substantial background in devising long-term strategies, seamlessly transitioning from high-level strategic planning to hands-on execution, and effectively steering account management;
- Proven self-starter with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to dynamic requirements and deadlines;
- Adaptable to excelling in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines;
- Dedicated to achieving results while maintaining a collaborative team-oriented approach;
- Eager inclination to learn and continuously develop professionally;
- Strong Excel experience;
