We are seeking an Automation Application Engineer 3 to join Twilio's CIO team in Bangalore or India Remote. The role involves building and coding automation bots using UiPath RPA technology, designing and developing components in various programming languages, and working closely with onsite Leads/Architects on support and project-related activities. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in automation development or coding using UiPath or similar technologies, as well as experience in Agile and ITSM frameworks. About the job
This position is needed to help Twilio business teams in delivering various automation solutions by collaborating with product management teams and directing the activities of the development and support teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Build or code attended or unattended automation bots using UiPath RPA technology using Agile SAfe methodology
- Design and develop components in SQL, PL/SQL, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS SNS/SQS, Node JS, Python etc
- Work closely with onsite Leads/Architects on the support and Project related activities
- Monitor Pager duty notifications for incidents and corresponding actions for closure
- Support Finance month end activities including RPA Studio & Studio X platform monitoring tools
- Participate in all sprint events including Sprint planning to plan the deliverables for upcoming sprints, sprint demos to showcase completed integrated solutions
- Provide Proof of concepts in any relevant new feature on Integration/Chatbot/Analytics tools
- Solution design the automations and prepare, review and obtain sign offs on the solution design documents
- Be part of end-to-end business process review meetings/workshops, documenting current process identifying pain points and opportunities for simplification and standardization
- Support Citizen development with business teams and monitor/enhance the business developed automations
- Support various mining (task, process and communication) projects
- Serve as a Testing Resource when required: Review test scripts, ensuring all positive, negative, and controls scenarios are included for various projects
- Effective deployment of all aligned RPA automations per the agreed-upon project plan schedule
- Prepare and maintain online content about RPA

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in automation development or coding using Ui Path or similar technologies
- Experience in Ui Path’s Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Mining tools, Machine Learning models, Intelligent document processing as a developer, architect and administrator
- Experience in setting up & running citizen development model
- Experience with Agile and ITSM frameworks
- Experience building and managing stakeholder relationships and expectations
- Experience with change Management and deployment methodologies
Desired:
- UiPathveloper Certification
- Experience or exposure to Prompt Engineering, Chatbots or AI features of Slack, ServiceNow or other platform applications
- Experience in UiPath test suite automation
Location
This role will be based in our Bangalore or India Remote
Travel
