With a 350+ strong team working remotely across 66+ countries, Nethermind offers flexible remote work options, $4,000/year travel stipends, and equity in a fast-growing company. The Business Development Executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of institutional clients and drive revenue growth.

Overview

As the Business Development at Nethermind, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to acquire and retain enterprise clients, including financial institutions, hedge funds, asset management, and global enterprise firms. Your expertise in navigating sales, relationship management, and strong technical knowledge in blockchain will be instrumental in achieving our sales targets and establishing Nethermind as a blockchain enterprise leader in the market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy, aligning with the overall business objectives of Nethermind.
  2. Identify and target potential enterprise clients, fostering relationships and managing the end-to-end sales process.
  3. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, actively prospecting new opportunities and converting them into long-term partnerships.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of institutional clients.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics to effectively position Nethermind's products and services in the enterprise space.
  6. Drive revenue growth by upselling and cross-selling Nethermind's offerings to clients.
  7. Represent Nethermind at industry events in your region, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish strong relationships within the enterprise and institutional community.
  8. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain a high standard of ethics in all sales activities.

Accountabilities:

  1. Meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  2. Building and maintaining a strong network of clients and partners.
  3. Creating and executing effective sales strategies.
  4. Providing accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to senior management.
  5. Ensuring customer satisfaction and cultivating long-term client relationships.

Performance Indicators:

  1. Revenue generated from enterprise sales.
  2. Growth rate of the enterprise client base.
  3. Conversion rate of qualified leads into closed deals.
  4. Achievement of individual sales targets.
  5. Customer satisfaction ratings and feedback.
  6. Effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives implemented.

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, technology or other related field.
  2. Proven track record in enterprise and institutional sales within the blockchain and digital assets industry.
  3. Strong understanding of enterprise requirements and market dynamics.
  4. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close complex and multi-year deals.
  5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  6. Strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
  7. Strong technical knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets and cryptocurrencies is essential, a strong interest in this area is a must. Someone with a background as an engineer, product manager, or architect who has discovered a passion for sales, business development, and strategy.
  8. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
