The Business Development Manager (Fiat Channel) role at Binance involves identifying and securing partnerships with local PSPs, card acquirers, APMs, and banking partners across APAC. The successful candidate will lead the full cycle of partnership development, from opportunity sourcing to contract signing and technical integration. They will also track emerging payment models, partner with internal teams to pilot new approaches, and provide insights to inform mid-to-long term strategy. This role requires 10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, crypto, or cross-border business development, as well as fluency in English and strong business judgment. Job Description
Responsibilities
- Channel Expansion – a) Identify, evaluate, and secure partnerships with local PSPs, card acquirers, alternative payment method providers (APMs), and banking partners across APAC. b) Lead the full cycle from opportunity sourcing, due diligence, and commercial negotiation to contract signing and technical integration. c) Continuously optimize payment flows to improve conversion rates, reduce friction, and enhance settlement capabilities (e.g., local currency settlement).
- Business Innovation Exploration – a) Track emerging payment models and fintech innovations across the region. b) Partner with internal product, tech, and compliance teams to pilot new approaches that combine fiat and crypto capabilities. c) Support go-to-market plans for new product constructs and payment flows.
- Infrastructure-Driven Perspective – a) Understand and anticipate how crypto can evolve into the next-gen financial infrastructure, particularly in the context of fiat payment rails. b) Follow regulatory, competitive, and ecosystem trends across key APAC markets and provide insights to inform mid-to-long term strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Finance, Business, or Law.
- 10+ years of total professional experience, with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, crypto, or cross-border business development.
- Strong understanding of local PSPs, card schemes, and payment ecosystem players in APAC.
- Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to drive partnerships from 0 to 1 and see them through to operational scale.
- Strong business judgment and execution mindset — thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative and structured communicator with the ability to align stakeholders across product, compliance, legal, and tech.
- Interest in the crypto space and willingness to learn about new paradigms in finance and infrastructure.
