As a technical writer, you will collaborate with team members to process and transform complex information into understandable content for internal and external consumption. You will write or revise supporting content, including position memos and data flows, and maintain operations documentation, user guides, and manuals. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience as a Tech Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, with CFIUS/regulatory experience and ability to engage with technical, engineering, and product teams. Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious CFIUS Technical Writer to join this growing team.
As a CFIUS Technical Writer, you will collaborate with other team members to process and transform complex information into understandable content for both internal and external consumption. You will write or revise supporting content, including position memos and data flows.
In this role, you’ll:
Maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications
Gather and document technical information
Maintain internal documentation library
Work with product and software engineers and developers to produce quality documentation and training materials
Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers
Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources
What you’ll bring:
Required
Five (5) years’ experience as a Tech Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents
CFIUS / regulatory experience (must be able to write documentation for government regulatory / legal audiences)
Ability / comfort engaging with technical, engineering, and product teams is very important
Desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required
Experience utilizing LucidChart or a similar diagramming software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Where you will work:
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of our New Jersey office, with the flexibility to work remotely. We are also open to considering fully remote candidates located within the USA, specifically in Eastern and Central time zones.
