Cyderes, a pure-play cybersecurity services provider, seeks a Chief Marketing Officer to accelerate growth and strengthen its brand awareness and market position. The CMO will lead all marketing initiatives, including demand generation, go-to-market strategy, brand positioning, product marketing, and customer marketing. With 10+ years of executive and global marketing leadership experience, the ideal candidate will have expertise in building and running highly successful digital campaigns, demonstrating success in building brand awareness across key influencers, and driving predictable revenue growth. The CMO will also be responsible for developing a best-in-class marketing organization, identifying and recruiting top talent, and creating a marketing narrative that develops a following and raises awareness for global enterprise customers. Job Description
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the CEO, the CMO will:
- Lead all aspects of Cyderes’ marketing, including demand generation (online and offline), brand, creative, product marketing, content marketing, communications/PR, events insights and analytics.
- Build a best-in-class marketing organization. Identify and recruit top talent.
- Create a marketing narrative that develops a following, raises awareness and visibility for global enterprise customers, and helps tell our story to the world. Inform the market of Cyderes’ value proposition and broad business application. Lead the continued development and consistency of Cyderes’ branding, advertising, and engagement across all platforms. Nourish relationships with enterprise customers, as well as industry analysts.
- Connect the brand, messaging, and product market positioning to demand generation and sales enablement efforts. Instrument the process and choose the preferred channels. Implement a consistent and metric-driven process with sales to nurture leads to closed deals and drive predictable revenue.
- Instill discipline and rigor into the go-to-market strategy and product launch methodology for category creation and expansion. Maximize new product revenue lift across all markets and channels. Provide feedback to the development organization regarding validation of customer needs, feature and product requirements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of executive and global marketing leadership, providing strategic input to marketing and business strategy.
- Experience in B2B enterprise, high-growth, managed services or tech enabled services companies. Experience in security managed services and PE-backed companies preferred.
- Track record of leading and developing high performance marketing teams with ownership of all facets, including demand generation (online and offline), brand, creative, product marketing, content marketing, communications/PR, events insights and analytics.
- Expertise in building and running highly successful, metrics-driven digital campaigns. Deep understanding of a highly predictable demand generation machine – conversion rates, attribution, investment models.
- Demonstrated success building brand awareness across key influencers including analysts, thought leaders, industry experts and press.
- Highly motivational and capable of communicating clearly, logically and with a high level of conviction at the executive level.
- Experience working with international teams and geographically distributed companies.
- Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others.
