Job Summary:

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) will own the product and engineering lifecycle across our full portfolio, from ideation and product launch to scaling for revenue growth. You will be responsible for designing our platform, product, and technical strategy while building a world-class team to deliver high-quality products that customers love. You should love operating at a fast pace and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get into the weeds with product and engineering teams, all while informing long-term strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background (having been an engineer yourself) with a bias towards product strategy. You will look for opportunities to apply AI to product design and development, embracing evolving AI technologies to create disruptive products from scratch.

Exceptional Leadership:

As a member of the executive team, you’ll serve as a role model for the rest of the company. Think about the feedback your peers typically give you – if it usually sounds like the below, we want to hear from you.

  • Low ego, low drama, servant leader: You share credit, take blame. You like being wrong because it means someone else had an even better idea.

  • One team mentality: You break silos across teams. You put the company and mission first above your team alone.

  • Great listener, hungry for feedback: You’re always seeking to improve – our product, our business, yourself. You solicit diverse opinions and deeply listen.

  • Owner, not renter: You see a problem, you fix it or find someone who will. The buck stops with you.

  • Player-coach: You fly high (create strategy) AND low (know the details that matter). You roll up your sleeves and get scrappy. You do this without micromanaging, empowering your team while actively engaging in important details.

  • Business problem solver. You’re not just a functional expert; you consistently get praise for approaching your function through the lens of solving business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Leadership

  • Own and drive the product lifecycle across all products, from ideation to scaling for revenue growth.

  • Develop and deliver on the product roadmap, translating strategic vision into tangible product initiatives.

  • Design and deliver revolutionary user experiences and intuitive interfaces to enhance customer adoption and drive business revenues.

  • Work alongside the CEO to set overall product strategy and lead the product team to execute and deliver on this strategy.

Technology Leadership

  • Oversee all aspects of technology development and implementation.

  • Design our platform, product, and technical strategy to align with business objectives.

  • Embrace and leverage evolving AI technologies, collaborating with engineering teams to create disruptive AI products from scratch.

  • Ensure the adoption of best practices in software development, architecture, and security.

Team Management

  • Build and develop a world-class product and engineering team.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages continuous improvement.

  • Operate at a fast pace, willing to engage deeply with teams while maintaining focus on strategic priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities involved in product development, release, and customer success.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align product offerings with market needs.

  • Drive communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Engineering Processes

  • Establish and optimize engineering processes and methodologies.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.

  • Evaluate and implement cost-effective technology solutions.

Innovation & AI Integration

  • Look for opportunities to apply AI to product design and development.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

  • Drive innovation initiatives that enhance customer value and business revenues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management and technology leadership roles.

  • Experience in applying AI technologies to product design and development.

  • Strong background in product, software development and system architecture.

  • Proficiency with modern development frameworks and methodologies.

  • Understanding of AI technologies, security protocols, compliance, and data privacy regulations.

  • Experience in building and scaling enterprise marketplace technologies preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop world-class product and engineering teams.

  • Ability to operate at a fast pace and engage deeply with teams while informing strategic priorities.

  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.
