Purpose of the role:

The Client Manager Aerospace (m/f/d) will serve as an Aerospace Auditor, responsible for delivering BSI audit services to our clients in compliance with all BSI, system, and regulatory requirements to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery that guarantees client satisfaction.


Location: Homebased with frequent travelling to meet clients


Preferred locations Germany or France (possible to apply also from Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden or Poland)


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that customers and their businesses/organisations gain value by assessing their systems and processes against BSI requirements.
  • Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure they understand the assessment decision and have clear direction regarding particular items of corrective action, where appropriate.
  • Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdraw certificates, and report recommendations per BSI policy, procedures, and prescribed time frame.
  • Continually enhance & uphold the reputation and perception of BSI through excellent planning, delivery, report writing and day-to-day interactions with customers and other key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and real added value when feeding back to clients.
  • Continually demonstrate a professional and engaging approach whilst assessing clients
  • Lead assessment teams as required, ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with Clients and within the team.
  • Establish and develop an effective partnership, which secures the commercial relationship and encourages opportunities for business development and increased client satisfaction with clients in your portfolio.
  • Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.

To be successful in the role:

  • Proven work experience in the Aerospace industry is mandatory.
  • Proven knowledge of management system auditing practices is mandatory.
  • Being a certified Lead Auditor for ISO9001 is considered as a strong asset.
  • Being a certified Lead Auditor for AS/EN9100 AEA or having completed the AATT course is considered as a strong asset (AS/EN9110 and AS/EN9120 in addition are preferred).
  • AEA authentication in the OASIS database is considered as a plus.
  • Fluency In English (C1) and German and/or French (C1) is mandatory. Any additional European language is considered as a plus.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Integrity to ensure business is conducted ethically.
  • Commercial awareness of client needs and value creation.
