Wasabi Technologies Inc. is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to sell its hot cloud storage solutions to new and existing clients in Italy. The role involves prospecting, nurturing, and selling to warm leads, leveraging marketing strategies, and developing strong customer rapport. With a track record of attainment of MM+ annualized quotas, the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of technology sales experience, native Italian and fluent English, and Salesforce or HubSpot CRM experience. Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Sell Wasabi hot cloud storage solutions to new and existing clients.
- Leverage channel and technology alliance partnerships to accelerate sales.
- Leverage marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales leads, and increase revenue.
- Host discovery and technical customer meetings to gain inspired understanding of Wasabi’s disruptive hot cloud storage solution.
- Develop strong customer rapport and trust.
- Listen and capture your prospects’ data storage needs.
- Provide consultative advice.
- Generate free-trial accounts, POCs, and customer wins.
- Coordinate with Wasabi organizations including Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales.
- Engineering to ensure that clients receive high-quality service.
- Leverage marketing automation and CRM tools to rapidly isolate ideal prospects and systematically track activity and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Your background in selling IaaS, cloud services, cloud storage, data backup, and disaster recovery solutions into named enterprise accounts will be key to your success in this role.
- A track record of attainment of MM+ annualized quotas is strongly preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of technology sales experience (storage experience a plus).
- Native Italian and fluent English is required.
- Disciplined about planning, setting goals, and following up.
- Self-starter, passionate about achieving success.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Salesforce or HubSpot CRM experience.
- Sales training certification a plus.
- Coachable and open to feedback on suggested alternative methods and processes.
- Creative team player, willing to make positive suggestions to further the team’s success.
