Job Description
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and respond to regulatory requests with a primary focus on US regulatory bodies such as FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, OFAC, DoJ, etc.
- Coordinate and support all aspects of the compliance audit process from start to finish.
- Leverage compliance expertise to provide consultative support to business units as needed.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to drive the company’s compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the implementation and roll-out of any necessary compliance programs across the organization.
- Manage cross functional projects responsive to regulator or monitor requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-10 years experience in compliance.
- Exceptional knowledge of US Compliance and Regulatory landscape is required.
- Prior experience working with a monitorship or US regulatory bodies is highly preferred.
- A legal background or prior regulator experience is a major plus, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently and make critical decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
