We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager for SQUIRE, a business management system designed for barbers and shop owners. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will own the day-to-day management of all SQUIRE social media channels and editorial calendar, work with Brand, Events, and Customer Marketing teams to create multi-channel experiences, and identify opportunities to engage with the barbering community. You will also oversee SQUIRE's weekly content and social media editorial calendar, our social community, barber content contributions, and refine voice and interactions across the community. SUMMARY

The SQUIRE Marketing team works to acquire new customers and create thriving relationships with our existing barbers through engaging content. We’re seeking a Content Marketing Manager who will be responsible for sharing and preserving SQUIRE’s voice, building awareness and brand affinity through storytelling and information sharing on a variety of channels, including Facebook, X/Twitter, and Instagram. You’ll also work with our Brand Marketing and Customer Marketing leads to build a more robust strategy for our blog and nurturing campaigns so that we can ensure we’re helping our customers get the most out of SQUIRE. 

In this role, you’ll manage SQUIRE’s social media channels and look for opportunities to engage with the barbering community where they are. You’ll be on the front lines, collaborating with product teams and interacting with sellers by concepting, drafting, and publishing cross-channel content, across social media and beyond. You will also oversee SQUIRE's weekly content and social media editorial calendar, our social community, barber content contributions, and be responsible for the continued refinement of voice and interactions across the community.

Director, Product Marketing

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the day-to-day management of all SQUIRE social media channels and editorial calendar

  • Work with Brand, Events and Customer Marketing teams to create engaging and multi-channel experiences to drive awareness, affinity and demand for SQUIRE’s suite of products

  • Identify and collaborate with barbers throughout the community to create and share compelling stories and useful advice

  • Create and manage our overarching influencer and advocate marketing programs

  • Work with our Product Marketing team to drive stronger performance of our referral program by identifying and incentivizing customers who are delighted with SQUIRE to share our products with their community

  • Analyze trends, develop actionable insights, and socialize relevant learnings across the organization

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience in social media, content marketing and/or related field

  • Experience in content marketing and social media editorial management

  • A love of writing and developing content for a variety of platforms and for producing engaging content 

  • Detail orientation and an eye for things like typos or funky cropped images 

  • Experience with social media content management and analytics platforms

  • Ability to think strategically and develop content based on building product and/or educational narratives

  • Experience using design tools like Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Figma

  • Deep social analytics knowledge
