Airalo is seeking a Content SEO Manager to drive the growth of their blog and educational resources through data-driven content audits, keyword research, and optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in content-focused SEO, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. They will work remotely as part of a global team and be responsible for creating high-quality, search-optimized content that resonates with audiences while driving SEO performance. Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct data-driven content audits and provide strategic recommendations to optimize performance across the blog and other content channels in all Regions and languages.
- Lead keyword research initiatives to identify high-impact content topics and guide editorial output, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Research and recommend tools that are scalable and effective for global use across all languages and Regions
- Partner with Regional Content Managers & Specialists, to plan, prioritize, and execute content that balances high search volume with brand authority and quality.
- Analyze content performance and provide actionable insights to improve rankings, traffic, and engagement.
- Collaborate with specialists and editorial teams to develop compelling, research-backed articles, guides, and resources.
- Serve as a key resource for SEO best practices, educating and upskilling content teams on effective optimization strategies.
- Create workflows and processes to streamline content production, ensuring outputs are consistent, scalable, and aligned with SEO objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to inform content strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Own and oversee the development of dashboards to better analyze and determine which content topics, pillars, categories, or contributors (e.g., in-house specialists or freelancers) are driving the most organic traffic and growth.
Must Haves:
- 4-6 years of experience in content-focused SEO, ideally within consumer tech or a growth-stage scale-up
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL / Looker (or similar BI tools) to build, update, and maintain dashboards for content performance analysis.
- Proven track record of driving blog growth and producing high-quality, high-performing content.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and upskill content creators.
- Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience managing content workflows and aligning diverse teams toward shared goals.
