The Role

Apollo.io is seeking a Conversion Rate Optimization Manager to help scale our organic and paid conversion efforts. This role will focus on improving the user journey from SEO-driven and paid acquisition funnels to conversion, ensuring our landing pages, sign-up flows, and website experiences drive maximum impact. You will work cross-functionally with SEO, Growth, Product, and Design to build and execute data-driven A/B tests, optimize UX/UI, and remove conversion roadblocks.

This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for experimentation, and experience optimizing B2B SaaS conversion funnels.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies across Apollo.io’s website, SEO landing pages, and high-intent funnel pages.
  • Develop and manage A/B tests, multivariate experiments, and personalization strategies to drive higher demo requests, free trial signups, and lead quality.
  • Conduct in-depth user behavior analysis using tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Hotjar, Looker, and Mixpanel to identify drop-off points and friction.
  • Optimize website UI/UX, CTA placements, and form flows to maximize conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with SEO and Content teams to enhance landing pages for organic traffic conversion.
  • Work with Paid Acquisition teams to improve post-click experiences and lower cost-per-conversion.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to implement tracking, funnel optimizations, and CRO best practices.
  • Establish a structured, data-driven CRO experimentation framework to drive continuous improvements.
  • Develop insights on customer segmentation and personalization to improve conversion paths.
  • Report on CRO test results, key learnings, and revenue impact to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-6+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO), growth marketing, or UX optimization in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong proficiency in A/B testing platforms (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO).
  • Experience with website analytics tools (GA4, Looker, Heap, Mixpanel) and user behavior tracking tools (Hotjar, Crazy Egg, FullStory).
  • Strong understanding of SEO-driven CRO strategies and landing page optimization.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in funnel analysis, form optimization, and lead conversion.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to work effectively with developers (coding not required but a plus).
  • Experience optimizing multi-step sign-up flows, demo request pages, and lead gen forms.
  • Strong ability to interpret data, present findings, and recommend actionable CRO strategies.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with SEO, Growth, Product, and Engineering.
  • Passion for experimentation and continuous improvement.
