Job Summary

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in India. The role involves working with API Gateways, authentication and authorization services, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Responsibilities include conducting security reviews, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and automating deployment and scaling of API gateways. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer, knowledge of DevOps concepts, microservices architectures, and RESTful APIs, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js. Job Description

Summary

The team works with the management and technological evolution of the API Gateways platform and authentication and authorization services for APIs.

What you'll do

  • Be part of the on-call rotation list.
  • Conduct security reviews and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of API gateways.
  • Resolve Jira issues related to authentication, authorization, or API Gateway configuration.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high availability and low latency.
  • Help to automate deployment and scaling of API gateways.
  • Set up monitoring and logging for API gateways.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and reliability.
  • Document API gateway configurations, processes, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts, microservices architectures and RESTful APIs;
  • Knowledge of different API Gateway technologies (such as Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway);
  • Basic knowledge in implementing and configuring applications in Kubernetes environments; 
  • Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization standards( such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML);
  • Experience with DevOps tools and automation (such as Codefresh, Jenkins, Github Actions); 
  • Proficiency in programming languages (such as Java, Python, Node.js);
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
