Job Summary
Job Description: Data Analyst - Mexico. Primary responsibility is driving JumpCloud’s core reporting, dashboard, and analytics. Collaborating and driving large, impactful projects involving data visualization, data analysis, and data curation with involvement across various stakeholders, business units, and technical partners. Owning the outcomes of the analytics initiatives you’re leading. Gathering requirements and providing actionable recommendations to business stakeholders that are seen routinely at an executive level, driving adoption and execution of recommendations. Mentoring and growing the other analysts in the group. Supporting team’s project management, strategic decision-making, and long-term planning. Staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and data governance and applying them to support our business needs. Looking for: Intermediate knowledge and experience in SQL and relational databases; Snowflake experience highly preferred. Proficiency in one or more business Intelligence / data visualization tools; Tableau experience highly preferred. Intermediate quantitative experience, SaaS industry preferred. Intermediate analytical skills and a passion for data storytelling and quantitative analysis. Mentoring skills. Strong attention to detail and desire to learn. Effective stakeholder management skills and communication skills. Experience with Data Governance best practices. Competency with scripting languages such as Python (Jupyter, Pandas, Numpy) and/or R (tidyverse, dplyr, ggplot2) a plus. Effective project management and organizational skills; Agile experience is a plus. Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, unstructured, dynamic environment; Start-up experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
