Job Summary
Anaplan is seeking a Data Integrations Engineer to design and implement scalable data integration solutions that enable business teams to streamline and automate critical processes. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL knowledge, experience with system/data integration, development, or implementation of enterprise and/or cloud software, and proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms like Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate. As a Data Integrations Engineer on the IT Enterprise Business Applications team, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and drive them through production. You will also identify areas for improvement and build solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data governance across the organization. As a Data Integrations Engineer on the IT Enterprise Business Applications team, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and drive them through production. You will design and implement scalable data integration solutions that enable business teams to streamline and automate critical processes. With a passion for innovation and automation, you will also identify areas for improvement and build solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data governance across the organization. Our tech stack includes tools like Python, Google Big Query, AWS, Tableau, Informatica IICS, and more.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, is passionate about data quality and governance, and is eager to leverage emerging technologies to drive automation and innovation across the organization. Your Impact
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize requirements for data integration solutions.
- Design and implement scalable data integration and pipeline architectures in distributed systems or hybrid cloud environments.
- Develop solutions to support key business processes such as Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Hire-to-Retire.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and data quality standards, leveraging tools like Informatica Data Governance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, infrastructure optimization, and automation of manual tasks.
- Build and maintain data transformation processes, metadata management, and workload management pipelines.
- Develop low-code/no-code solutions using platforms like Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate to accelerate development and innovation.
- Create self-service analytics tools to provide actionable insights into business performance.
- Research industry trends and emerging technologies (e.g., GraphQL) to drive digital transformation.
- Follow best practices for development, including test-driven development (TDD) and comprehensive documentation.
Your Qualifications
- Strong SQL knowledge and proficiency in database querying and optimization.
- 5+ years of experience in system/data integration, development, or implementation of enterprise and/or cloud software.
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and design data integration solutions.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks; experience with Informatica Data Governance is a plus.
- Proficiency with low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
- Proficiency in any data integration/ETL technologies like Informatica, Mulesoft, or Dell Boomi.
- Demonstrated experience with programming languages like Python or Java.
- Experience designing, implementing, and deploying scalable API services using RESTful standards.
- Strong understanding of SaaS application architectures and integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of platforms like Google Big Query, Snowflake, and AWS services.
- A highly motivated, innovative mindset with a passion for automation and operational efficiency.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of stream processing platforms like Kafka and message queuing.
- Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technologies, including tools like Automation Anywhere and SNOW RPA.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation, including applying these practices with services such as GitLab CI and Jenkins. Knowledge of stream processing platforms like Kafka and message queuing.
- Low-code/no-code experience with platforms such as Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
