The Platform team at Spotify creates technology that enables rapid growth and scalability. As a member of this team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define metrics, build dashboards, and create reports. You'll perform exploratory analysis to understand user behavior and communicate insights to key partners. With 4+ years of experience in programmatic data analysis, reporting, and visualization, you'll contribute to the development of stable and reliable products for Spotify's clients. This role offers flexibility to work from home or in-person meetings, with a focus on providing an outstanding product experience.

The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the frameworks, capabilities and tools needed to welcome a billion customers. We are an insights team supporting across the domains of Developer Experience, Client Platform and Core Infrastructure. As a member of the team, you’ll work closely with a cross functional team of data scientists, data engineers, user researchers, and product managers who are all passionate about creating scalable products for our developers and customers. Your focus will be in the Client Platform domain which strives to bring a great experience for client developers at Spotify, and through this deliver stable and reliable products for people to enjoy.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams of skilled engineers, data scientists, user researchers, designers, and product managers who are all passionate about providing an outstanding product experience

  • Define metrics, build dashboards and create reports and key datasets to empower data-informed product development

  • Perform exploratory analysis to understand who our users are, how they get value out of our offering and where we can further develop our product to bring greater value

  • Communicate insights and recommendations to key partners, helping activate data best practices 

Who You Are

  • You have a 4+ years work experience with an emphasis on programmatic data analysis, reporting, and visualization/ dashboarding with Tableau or similar BI solution

  • You have proven experience using coding skills such as Python, SQL and/or R to analyze complex data

  • You have experience or a strong interest in internal tooling and highly complex technical domains such as cloud infrastructure, continuous integration, observability, and software architecture.

  • You are curious and not afraid of exploring new domains; you enjoy partnering with others to define and develop new opportunities

  • You are able to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.

Where You´ll Be

  • This role is based in London or Stockholm.

  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
