The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience driving sales with and through EMEA partners, with a proven ability to drive complex strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns, and partner development activities. The Director Partner Sales will collaborate with regional SI's, develop a detailed EMEA partner strategy, manage the EMEA partnerships team, and work cross-functionally with sales and CS leaders. Job Title: Director Partner Sales

Location: UK, Ireland or Germany –100% remote with 30% European travel

Reports to: VP Global Partners

Languages required: English (native/C2 level)

Additional languages preferred: French or German (native/C2 level)

 

A quick snapshot… In this role, you will be pivotal in boosting sales through our EMEA partner network by collaborating with regional SI’s. As the primary contact for a designated group of partners, you will develop a detailed EMEA partner strategy, using the global partner strategy and EMEA sales/CS strategies as a baseline. This includes creating a landscape of partners and targets in the region, developing a hiring plan, managing the EMEA partnerships team, and working cross-functionally with sales and CS leaders. You will also collaborate with partner marketing and EMEA marketing to determine the annual co-marketing strategy with events, leveraging the regional budget. Finally, you will own partner-sourced pipeline, partner-sourced closed won, and partner-influenced closed won in the region.

Why it’s a big deal…  You’ll play a crucial role in supporting sales activities such as sales enablement, account mapping, webinars, roadshows, contract negotiations, customer calls, and demos.  This position thrives on collaboration, where you'll forge strong relationships with our sales, marketing, and sales engineering teams, supporting partner initiatives aimed at uncovering new opportunities, expanding current ones, and facilitating customer renewals.  Moreover, you'll capitalize on your relationships within partner organizations to enhance our executive-level engagement, aligning senior stakeholders with Conga's leadership teams.

 

Are you the person we’re looking for?  

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, enterprise software business is a must.
  • 5+ years of experience in driving sales with and through EMEA partners, with a proven ability to drive complex strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns and partner development activities.
  • Your expertise lies in cultivating collaborative partner relationships, expanding existing ones, and establishing new connections. Your existing network serves as an asset, offering insights, opportunities, and support to propel revenue.

High Achiever: You have a consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets & business objectives.

Champion of the Customer. You maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Conga’s market positioning, products, and services to help ensure partner efforts and partner programs are aligned with the overall organizational goals and brand.

Driven and well organized. A hard working, self-starter, you are laser-focused on driving enablement activities and actively engaging with the partner ecosystem. Your unparalleled project management skills allow you to stay connected with the partner network and track progress against established KPIs. Willing to take on challenges – you are never satisfied with the status quo.

Proactive Mindset. ​Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful; ability to drive key initiatives internally and externally. ​Driving and owning the operations.

Excellent Communicator. You know what to say, and more importantly how to say it. You're comfortable talking across all levels of an organization and can influence C-suite stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Energetic and Collaborative. You bring energy and enthusiasm to your partners, Conga and customer relationships. You work easily across sales, CS, Marketing, Technical and Business teams.
