The Director, Professional Services (Client Solutions) is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and driving the growth and effectiveness of our portfolio with our largest projects and clients. This role leads a team that delivers exceptional consulting and implementation services to our clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.  The Director, Professional Services is ultimately accountable for delivering exceptional  results related to services revenue, margin, implementation satisfaction, and team retention.

What you'll do:

    • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the portfolio, aligning with Sprypoint’s overall goals and objectives.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage team leaders, project managers, solution architects, and implementation specialists; Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
    • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (PMO, Methods & Standards, Training & Enablement) to drive methodology, implementation playbooks, operations, and develop and implement training and development programs for the team.
    • Partner with Business Operations, drive resource management and manage the Client Solutions budget, including resource allocation, financial forecasting and planning, and cost control.
    • Drive thought leadership and contribute to the company’s position as an industry leader through participation in industry events, conferences, and publications.
    • Client Engagement:
    • Oversee the delivery of high-quality consulting and implementation services to clients; And work closely with other departments, including Sales, Product Management, and Client Success, to ensure alignment of goals and seamless execution of client projects.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex issues, and participate in key client touchpoints such as onsite project kickoff meetings and monthly project steering committee meetings, and onsite go-lives.  
    • Support the Advisory Services (Services, Sales) team in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, scoping, pricing, SOW development, and contract negotiations.

What We’re Looking For:

    • Proven track record of successfully leading, managing, and scaling a Professional Services organization ($10M+ P&L, 25+ team members) through rapid growth and change.
    • 5+ years of experience managing Professional Services teams within a software company.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
    • Excellent client management and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
    • Solid understanding of Enterprise software solutions, implementation methodologies, and project management principles.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
