Figma is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to lead its Data Infrastructure organization. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering leader, with at least 2 years of experience managing managers. They should also have 8+ years of experience in software engineering roles, ideally reaching staff level as an individual contributor. The role involves building a healthy, scalable, inclusive, and growth-oriented engineering organization, defining and developing the roadmap and technical strategy for next-generation data infrastructure, and establishing trust within and across teams. Figma is a data-driven organization. Data Infrastructure owns the platform used across the company to generate financial reports, key business metrics (e.g., WAU / MAU, etc), product analytics, etc. We are making significant investments to build a self-serve platform that can address a wide range of needs from across the company – from understanding our user’s experience with Figma to ensuring that our financial pipelines are robust.
