Job Summary
We are seeking a technical lead to join our team, responsible for hiring and developing personnel, delegating work, collaborating with teams, analyzing user needs, creating end goals, supervising system modifications, conducting risk analysis, guiding teams through technical issues, monitoring service OPS, and ensuring high-standards development processes. The ideal candidate has upper-intermediate English proficiency, previous experience leading a team, hands-on experience with Java or Golang, Relational DBs, CI/CD, Software Architecture, Microservices, AWSPrevious experience with large-scale/high-throughput services, mission-critical services, SRE/DevOps concepts, Quality and Security concepts. Desirable experience in the financial industry and BigData tools is also required. The role offers flexible remote work options, $4,000/year travel stipends, and equity in a fast-growing company.
What you'll do
Hiring and developing technical personnel by conducting periodic 1:1 sessions and providing regular feedback
Knowledge of the scope and a deep-level overview of their products and goals inside the team
Delegating work and assignments to team members
Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems
Analyzing users’ needs and then finding applications to serve them
Creating end goals for the team
Checking that software and applications are updated
Supervising system modifications
Conducting a risk analysis to identify areas of improvement
Guiding their team through technical issues and challenges
Monitor their team service's OPS
Guarantee their teamwork follows high-standards development processes, including PR reviews, code quality, test coverage, robustness, resilience, performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
Upper-intermediate English - B2 (speaking)
Previous experience leading a team and building processes
Hands-on experience with Java or Golang
Hands-on experience with Relational DBs
Previous experience with CI/CD
Previous professional experience with Software Architecture
Experience with Microservices
Experience with AWS
Previous experience with large-scale/high-throughput services
Previous experience with mission-critical services
Understand SRE/DevOps concepts
Understand Quality and Security concepts
Desirable experience in the financial industry
Desirable experience with BigData tools, such as Spark and Databricks or AWS EMR.
