Welocalize is seeking English into Finnish medical translators to join their pool of trusted medical partners. As a freelancer, you will translate and edit content from English into Finnish with original meaning conveyed, working on various types of medical documents such as investigator-facing, patient-facing, and pharmacy content. You will use CAT tools like XTM/Phrase and work remotely. The expected volume is +5,000 words per week, and the start date is ASAP. Welocalize values good communication skills and proficiency in translation and editing of medical documents. Main Duties:

Translate and edit content from English into Finnish with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.

Required Skills:

Minimum 3 years experience in translation and/or editing of medical documents
Formal higher education in Translation (preferably at Masters level), or formal higher education in medical related fields.
Proficient use of CAT tools, especially XTM/Phrase
Good communication skill.
