Job Summary
We seek a skilled translator with native-level Japanese fluency to translate patent documents from English into Japanese. The successful candidate will have experience in translating biology, chemistry, pharmacy, genetics, and other related fields. They should be proficient in CAT tools like XTM and Trados. The ideal candidate will provide prompt responses to emails and meet the volume requirement of 2,000-5,000 words per week. This is a remote opportunity with flexible work arrangements.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are looking for translators with experience in translating patents from English into Japanese (native-level fluency of Japanese) for a patent translation project.
MAIN DUTIES
o Translate Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Genetics patent documents from English into Japanese with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.

Volume per week: 2,000-5,000 words per week

Requirements
- Have strong experience of Patent Translation such as Chemical, Biochemistry, Biological, Pharma, Genetics, etc.
- Native level fluency of Japanese
- At least 3-years' experience in translating patent
- Good at using CAT Tools, such as, XTM and Trados etc.
- Prompt responses on emails
