They will analyze music lyrics content, transcribe 65% of the time, proofread/edit 25%, and analyze metadata 10%. Job Description

Welocalize is seeking candidates with a native-level of English to perform music lyrics transcription and Quality Assurance/review of the content. The perfect candidate can be located in Ireland or the UK. Our Fortune 100 tech client is looking for candidates with strong music, lyrics, metadata, data analyst, translation backgrounds.
Position: English Music Specialist
Location: Remote, UK based
Workweek: 5 days a week (Monday- Friday) 40 hours/week
Competitive Salary: £31,850
Permanent Contract with benefits
Start Date: ASAP
As a Music Specialist you will be responsible of analyzing Music Lyrics Content in English. 65% of the time transcribing lyrics, 25% proofreading/editing and 10% analyzing metadata. Excellent linguistic skills, music knowledge. You will need passion for technology and a will to question the current workflows with the mindset to improve tools and processes.

Qualifications

    • Native proficiency in English is a must.
    • Candidates having any linguistic background / previous experience transcribing lyrics in English will be a plus.
    • Passionate about music and media and well-versed in pop culture and music history
    • Knowledgeable in artist discography
    • Highly detail-oriented and feel comfortable multitasking and working in a dynamic environment while maintaining the quality and quantity of their work.
    • Excellent research skills.
    • Ambitious individuals who work well both independently and with a team.
    • Focused, upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented with a positive attitude.
    • Thorough knowledge of macOS is preferred
    • Must be currently located in Ireland or UK.
