You will also conduct market research, create financial models, and build relationships with investors and partners. With a proven track record in fintech and entrepreneurship, you will embody an entrepreneurial mindset within the organization. Kueski is a leading buy now, pay later platform in Latin America, known for its innovative financial services and commitment to improving the financial lives of people in Mexico. As an EIR, you will play a critical role in defining strategic initiatives, leading experiments, and creating the foundation for potential new revenue streams. Purpose

As an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Kueski, you will act as an innovation catalyst, identifying and exploring new business opportunities that align with Kueski's mission and growth strategy. This role involves driving end-to-end product and business development, from ideation to execution, through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations.

Your primary focus will be to explore and validate new ideas, conduct market research, build business cases, and rapidly prototype solutions to uncover scalable opportunities. As an EIR, you’ll play a critical role in defining strategic initiatives, leading experiments, and creating the foundation for potential new revenue streams, while embodying an entrepreneurial mindset within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

    • Identify market gaps and develop innovative solutions aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
    • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer discovery to validate new business ideas.
    • Design and develop business plans for new ventures or strategic initiatives.
    • Create financial models, go-to-market strategies, and operational frameworks for potential businesses.
    • Test and refine business concepts through pilot programs or MVP development.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage internal expertise and drive execution.
    • Build and maintain relationships with investors, partners, and external stakeholders to support venture growth.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on entrepreneurship and innovation.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and panels as an ambassador for innovation.

Position Requirements

    • 8+ years of experience
    • Experience building fintech products
    • Proven track record as a successful entrepreneur, founder, or executive leader in a high-growth startup.
    • Strong business acumen with experience in market research, strategy, and business development.
    • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute innovative ideas from inception to execution.
    • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
    • Languages: Conversational level of Spanish and English
