Job Summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking an ERP Administrator to work on the cutting edge of IT and Information Security. The role involves creating user information solutions by documenting business processes, gathering requirements, and developing effective solutions. Key responsibilities include demonstrating strong communication skills, providing exceptional customer service, driving simplicity in process design for scalability, improving systems through trend analysis, adhering to IT best practices, adapting to organizational changes, communicating effectively with management, working independently or collaboratively, understanding SDLC and functional process design, prioritizing projects, willingness to learn and train others. Requirements include experience configuring NetSuite Financial and OpenAir/Advance Project Management, knowledge of ERP data models, proficiency in designing custom records/forms, experience with ERP business requirements gathering, documentation, fit-gap assessment, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live activities, knowledge of NetSuite implementation methodologies, ticketing systems like JIRA. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years NetSuite functional/development experience, CPA or Certified NetSuite Professional certifications are a plus. Approximately 10% travel required.

ERP Administrator at GuidePoint Security will work on the cutting edge of Information Technology and Information Security. They should have a strong interest/capability in creating user information solutions by documenting business process, gathering requirements, evaluating priorities and creating highly effective solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service to the GuidePoint user base

  • Elicit, document, and refine business, and non-functional requirements using appropriate documentation techniques

  • Drive simplicity in process and design to support scalability and reliability

  • Improve systems by studying current practices, industry trends and suggesting modifications

  • Adhere to standards and IT best practices, including but not limited to system, design, operational, installation, security and configuration

  • Be willing to accept changes in the organization and adapt to changes through learning and communication

  • Communicate progress, challenges and issues to management in an effective, consistent and timely manner

  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with a larger team

  • Ability to articulate through understanding a solid knowledge of SDLC and functional process design

  • Ability to prioritize projects, maintain timelines and provide an appropriate level of service to the business

  • Willingness to learn and at times share with/train other members of the IT team

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements 

  • Work history exemplifying the responsibilities of which this position entails

  • Functional and technical experience configuring NetSuite Financial and OpenAir/Advance Project Management is a plus

  • Demonstrate understanding of ERP data model/configuration and transaction flows in one or more of the following areas: Order Management/Fulfillment, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and/or Record-to-Report

  • Proficient in designing/developing custom records, forms, segments, fields, workflow, Saved Search, Saved Reports, permissions/roles, CSV import, data mass updates, automation

  • Perform administrative tasks in Netsuite or equivalent ERP, such as roles and permissions

  • Experience in ERP Business Requirements Gathering, Documentation, Fit-Gap Assessment, Solution Design, Configuration, Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live activities

  • Knowledge of NetSuite or equivalent ERP Implementation Methodology and Deliverables (NetSuite One and SuiteSuccess Methodology)

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite OneWorld Deployments

  • Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA

Educational & Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of NetSuite functional and development experience or equivalent ERP experience

  • CPA Certification is a plus

  • Certified NetSuite Professional is a plus

Travel & Office Location

  • Approximately 10% out-of-town travel to regional offices and/or data centers

  • Work remotely or at the regional office when not traveling
