Job Summary
Invisible Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to support the day-to-day operations of their AI training and scaling platform. As an FDE, you'll work with Solution Architects and other engineers to design workflows, identify optimisations, and respond to support requests from customers. You'll have the opportunity to gain insight into challenging problems at top organisations and contribute to solving them. With a strong engineering background and proficiency in programming languages like Python or TypeScript, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's pushing the boundaries of AI. About The Role
Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) work to support the day-to-day operations of Invisible deployments. Our customers rely on our platform for some of their most critical operations. As an FDE, you’ll apply your problem solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to support our customer’s implementations and workflows. You’ll have the opportunity to gain rare insight into challenging problems at the world's most important organisations and directly contribute to solving them.
What You’ll Do
- Work with Solution Architects and other Forward Deployed Software Engineers to understand the critical problems customers have and design workflows to solve them.
- Identify workflow optimisations through deep engagement with customer problems and work to build into a stable and scalable solution.
- Respond to and triage incoming support requests from both internal and external teams.
- Maintain and improve existing workflows to support customer outcomes.
What We Need
- Strong engineering background demonstrated by a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science and related fields OR equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with one of more programming languages, such as Python, Typescript/JavaScript, or similar.
- Familiarity with a data engineering frameworks, such as SQL/NoSQL

Compensation:
Invisible is committed to fair and competitive pay, ensuring that compensation reflects both market conditions and the value each team member brings. Our salary structure accounts for regional differences in cost of living while maintaining internal equity.
- Tier 1: $139,000 - $154,000
- Tier 2: $126,000 - $140,000

However, we recommend confirming the specific tier for your location with your recruiter. For candidates outside the U.S., compensation will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost-of-living differentials.
Bonuses and equity are included in all offers. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions.
