We are looking for an engaged and passionate Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering Team.

At Aircall’s Conversation AI team, we’re all about making interactions between businesses and their customers more effective and natural. Our mission is to create smart tools that let agents focus on human conversation, while giving supervisors everything they need to boost team performance and coaching. From automatically generating transcriptions to developing personalized solutions, we cover the full conversation cycle.

We use artificial intelligence to better understand conversations and their context, but we always keep in mind that tech is just a tool to improve communication. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features that add customer value on top of Voice.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers
    • Contribute within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules
    • Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
    • Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
    • Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients
    • Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
    • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability

Qualifications:

    • You have at least 4+ years of experience in backend development with Typescript/Node.js with a focus on delivering for security, scalability, availability, and performance
    • 1+ years of experience working on frontend applications is a plus, preferably with React
    • You have experience with distributed systems, microservices or serverless architectures
    • You have worked extensively with AWS in a production environment and understand how to design for, deploy on and get the best out of, the environment and services provided by Amazon
    • Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do
