Job Summary

Lime is seeking a Global Program Manager – Fleet Quality to lead initiatives ensuring high-quality repairs, process compliance, fleet reliability, and rider safety across their global operations. The ideal candidate will spearhead quality control programs, manage fleet recalls, retrofits, and upgrades, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance repair processes and implement operational improvements. With a strong analytical mindset and ability to problem-solve in real-time, the successful candidate will drive fleet reliability at scale. Lime offers a competitive salary range of $91,000 - $166,000, annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits. The company is a remote-first organization with flexible work arrangements and opportunities for professional growth.

Lime is the world's largest shared electric vehicle company. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered 700+ million rides in 250+ cities on 5 continents, replacing an estimated 150+ million car trips. Named a Time 100 Most Influential Company and Fast Company Brand That Matters, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally.

Lime is looking for a Global Program Manager – Fleet Quality to lead initiatives that ensure high-quality repairs, process compliance, fleet reliability, and rider safety across our global operations. In this role, you will spearhead our Quality Control program, driving standardization and best practices across all markets. Additionally, you will manage fleet recalls, retrofits, and upgrades, collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep our vehicles safe, up-to-date, and performing at their best.

As a strategic thinker and hands-on problem solver, you thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You will work closely with teams across multiple countries and backgrounds to enhance repair processes, implement operational improvements, and ensure consistent adherence to quality standards. Your ability to analyze data, identify areas for optimization, and execute impactful solutions will be key to driving fleet reliability at scale.

If you’re passionate about continuous improvement, operational excellence, and making a tangible impact, we’d love to hear from you!

We are a remote first company! For many roles, we welcome applications from anywhere we operate. As this is a hybrid position requiring you to go into a warehouse three times per week, it's preferred that the individual hired for this role be within 1 hour commute from Lime's warehouse in one of the following locations:  Seattle, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, New York City, Minneapolis, Austin, or Atlanta

What you'll do:

    • Lead & Manage Global Quality Control: Oversee implementation, development, and continuous improvement of Lime’s QC processes in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and local Operations teams.
    • Manage Recalls, Retrofits & Upgrades: Ensure seamless execution of hardware updates, fleet safety initiatives, and reliability improvements, partnering with Hardware Engineering and Trust & Safety teams.
    • Analyze & Drive Hardware Reliability Improvements: Use data-driven insights to identify performance trends and failure points, translating findings into actionable recommendations for Engineering teams.
    • Strategic Planning & Execution: Contribute to the development of OKRs, roadmaps, and budgets, driving alignment across global teams.
    • Influence & Implement Best Practices: Partner with Training, Hardware, and Compliance teams to establish quality standards, training programs, and SOPs.
    • Foster a Culture of Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure repair SOPs are followed, challenged when needed, and systematically improved, serving as a hardware subject matter expert across our global fleet.

About you:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years of experience leading process improvements, operational change, or quality control initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical skills, including beginner/intermediate SQL, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, and basic experience with data visualization tools.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to implement process improvements.
    • Ability to problem-solve in real-time, balancing short-term fixes with long-term strategic planning.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple countries and cultural backgrounds.
    • Willingness to travel (~10%) to key warehouse locations to learn about locally developed best practices and support on-the-ground implementation.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $166,000.00. Annual performance bonus, equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s location of residence, the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable performance-bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
