Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner, Europe is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop the team in Europe while gaining expertise in various areas of Human Resources. The role will leverage extensive knowledge of employment regulations, including data protection, employment laws in multiple European jurisdictions, recruitment, employee relations, and learning and development. Working closely with the US parent company and leaders in the European and UK region, the HR Business Partner will drive excellence across the European and UK entity. This position requires flexibility to operate as an HR Partner while supporting cross-functional HR efforts. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of country-specific employment laws, talent acquisition experience, individual and team development expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role involves providing guidance on HR matters, building trusted relationships with senior leadership, and driving cultural and values integration across all employee touchpoints. Successful candidates will be able to flex into various areas of Human Resources such as Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, and others. This position offers a competitive salary range of £56k-£72k per year, flexible remote work options, and the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects.

This employee will be based in United Kingdom or Poland. This position is remote but you must be located in the UK or Poland.

This role will leverage their extensive knowledge of employment regulations, including data protection, the intricacies of employment laws in multiple European jurisdictions, recruitment, employee relations and learning and development. Working closely with our US parent company as well as leaders in the European and UK region, the Human Resources Business Partner will be crucial in driving excellence across our European and UK entity. Successful candidates must be flexible to operate as an HR Partner, while also supporting cross-functional HR efforts, i.e. Recruitment, Benefits, etc.  Successful candidates will be able to flex into various areas of Human Resources such as Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, and others.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •    Act as a strategic partner to UK-based functional leaders, aligning business goals with HR strategies and people priorities. •    Build trusted relationships with senior leadership across the UK, Poland, and EMEA to foster a cohesive employee experience. •    Provide guidance on HR matters including talent development, performance management, and employee relations. Serve as the primary contact for employee queries related to HR policies and procedures. •    Support and sometimes lead recruitment efforts with direction from Talent Acquisition leadership •    Collaborate with internal HR teams (Learning & Development, Compensation, HR Operations) to implement solutions that support employee development and business needs. •    Lead and support day-to-day HR operations including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and exits. •    Monitor and ensure compliance with UK and European employment laws, updating policies as necessary. •    Drive cultural and values integration across all employee touchpoints, championing them as key aspects of the employee experience. •    Analyze workforce trends, providing strategic recommendations on headcount, succession planning, and organizational design. •    Guide leaders through change management and organizational design initiatives with clarity and confidence. •    Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, aligned with UK and European HR standards. •    Support recruitment efforts in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, including the drafting of employment agreements. •    Handle employee relations, discipline, and terminations in line with local regulations and company policy. •    Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making, monitor KPIs, and drive OKRs. •    Oversee the processing of immigration documentation and ensure compliance with relevant laws. •    Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing coaching and support to drive team effectiveness. •    Champion the company’s values and leadership behavior framework throughout all interactions.

REQUIREMENTS •    Education Requirement –  Bachelors in Human Resources, Business or related field •    Experience Requirement–  4+ years Human Resources, or similar support, experience, in a technology-centric organization •    Skills Requirements          Thorough understanding of country-specific employment laws in Europe, specifically in England, Poland          Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.          Talent acquisition/recruiting experience          Experience with individual and team development          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills          Agile, coachable, and gritty/tenacious          Project management skills          Compensation survey expertise          Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills          Proven experience in a global role          Strong knowledge of benefits compliance and regulatory requirements.          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills          Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment          Can travel 1 week per quarter          Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
