Join us as our new Internal Communications Specialist for Customer Support (CS), where your creativity & expertise will shape a communicative environment that empowers teams and fosters company culture.

Location & Time Zone: 100% remote; Central European Time Zone +/- 2 hours.  

Interview Process: 4 stages (Recruiter Interview > Hiring Managers’ Interview > Home Task > Culture interview with People Partner Team Leads

Tools: Iterable, Canva, Figma, G-Suite 

Reporting to: Head of Internal Communications and Customer Support Talent Business Partner

Your team is in a  matrixed structure: 

  • 8 people in the Internal Communications Team (1 Head of Internal Comms, 3 Internal Comms Specialists, 1 Copywriter, 1 Brand Specialist, 1 Ops Specialist, 1 Delivery Manager, and YOU!)

  • 23  people in the Customer Support People Partners’ team (20 People Partners and 3 L&D Partners) 

  • 1500+ teammates / internal customers in the Customer Support Team, located in Ukraine and India

Who will you work with?  

This is a matrixed role at the intersection of the Internal Communications Team and the CS People Partners team. You’ll be responsible for creating and executing communication strategies to support the Customer Support team’s priorities around people engagement and effectiveness.

You’ll work with the Internal Communications Team as a center of expertise for communication strategies and methods, aligning on best practices and knowledge sharing. Simultaneously, you’ll collaborate with the CS People Partners team on a day-to-day basis for strategic direction, aligning on business needs and context, stakeholder expectations, and criteria for successful results.

In this context, you will: 

-Facilitate the engagement and effectiveness of colleagues in Customer Support by writing content, creating/maintaining processes, and building new communication strategies that align with Internal Comms, CS People Partners Team, and local recruiting and PR priorities. 

-Refine the processes, systems, strategies, and content used to communicate with CS creating a high degree of quality, consistency, simplicity, and efficiency (i.e. writing engaging emails to communicate events taking place, developing and updating content on relevant Confluence spaces to deliver key messages.)

-Infuse the core messages of Namecheap’s culture, our People Team principles and philosophy, and our talent brand and talent value proposition, into all communications (formal and informal) in subtle and direct ways according to context (i.e. conceptualizing and writing an infographic to showcase the successes of a CS team, creating a series of video interviews with staff to promote different roles in CS  as a career path, etc.)

-Assist the Talent Business Partner and People Partners in creating communication plans for new programs, initiatives, and other instances of change management

-Research and implement communication practices and tools (including new technology) that will increase the effectiveness of internal comms and have a positive impact on employee engagement inside CS

-Suggest new and fresh ideas on how to improve communications, and bring your suggestions to life through action and iteration

What you will bring:

-Fluency in English and Ukrainian, comfortable and confident writing, speaking, and presenting in both.

-2-3 years of experience in creative communications, organizing events, or other employee engagement projects. 

-Tech-savvy approach and ability to learn new software and tools (i.e. LMS/LXP platform, intranet or content management, email/newsletter marketing tools).

-Proven ability to display information visually in a way that is both creative and effective.

-Being a regular consumer of external media, current trends, innovative and best practices in communications (internal comms but also in wider world/media at large).

-Customer-centered thinking along with a collaborative and relationship-focused approach.

-Good capacity to manage expectations and promote agreements among stakeholders

-Results-driven, proactive, and self-starting.

-Extremely organized and attentive to details; a stickler for accuracy and excellence.
