Welocalize is seeking a Localization QA Tester / Proofreader with native-level fluency in Italian and strong technical skills. The role involves testing web-based systems and applications, executing test cases, identifying localization issues, and reporting them through an internal bug-tracking system. This is a fully remote, part-time position with a fixed-term contract for one year (with the possibility of extension). The schedule is 20 hours per week, with shifts of 4 hours per day (to be determined). Key responsibilities include testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS, executing test cases and scripts to ensure localization accuracy, identifying, reporting, and tracking localization bugs using an internal bug-tracking system, verifying fixes and ensuring linguistic and functional quality. The ideal candidate should have native-level fluency in Italian, fluency in English, experience in translation, localization, or linguistic QA, strong technical skills, familiarity with bug-tracking systems and test case execution, ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic setting. Key Responsibilities

Requirements
