Job Summary

WeLearn is a startup that partners with content creators and influencers, seeking a Junior Account Manager to build strong relationships, execute social media strategies, and collaborate with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have fluency in English and French, basic understanding of digital marketing, and strong interpersonal skills. They will work closely with the team and founders to learn and grow, while gaining experience in creators' industries and developing communication and stakeholder management skills. As a Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring campaign performance, providing recommendations, and resolving day-to-day issues. WeLearn is a pro-startup, pro-tech organisation with unlimited potential of growth, offering flexible remote work options and $4,000/year travel stipends.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

  • Diego Beccarelli, Co-Founder and COO, ex Meta (Facebook) and Roland Berger, CEMS and London School of Economics Alumnus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Start from scratch building and maintaining strong relationships with creators and influencers.
  • Help execute social media strategies and campaigns for creators, learning how to develop content and marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of campaigns and projects.
  • Monitor and track campaign performance, gathering data for performance reports and providing recommendations based on the analysis.
  • Communicate regularly with creators, ensuring they are aware of timelines, deliverables, and next steps.
  • Assist in resolving day-to-day issues or questions from creators, escalating to senior team members when necessary.
  • Research and stay updated on trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Learn how to optimise and report on campaigns, gaining experience in analytics and performance metrics.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering input and learning from more experienced team members.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Fluency in English and French are mandatory
  • Knowledge of more European languages is a big plus
  • Basic understanding of the Digital Marketing landscape
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for various creators' and influencers' needs
  • Flexible working hours are required in case of urgency or business need
  • Positive, proactive approach and problem-solving attitude
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, every creator represents an independent business the Account Manager needs to grow
  • Strong willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Google, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok ads would be a strong plus
  • Previous professional interactions with tiktok/ig content creators would be a strong plus
  • Experience in client-facing roles would be a plus
