At Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, our Institutional Sales team is laser-focused on accelerating the global adoption of crypto among large-scale clients like hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. We’re on the hunt for talented Institutional Sales Managers to join our team remotely in Europe! We’re seeking highly ambitious and experienced sales professionals to drive Kraken’s sales initiatives for our qualified custody and staking products and solutions.

The primary goal of this role is to expand our client base, generate new revenue through business development, and ultimately help our clients achieve success. You’ll identify fresh business opportunities by employing a mix of inbound and outbound sales strategies while collaborating closely with the product team to enhance our product suite. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven sales professional who wants to shape the future of crypto with a leading global brand


The opportunity

  • Support the institutional sales across Europe, drive client and volume growth for our custody and staking products.
  • Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members in doing the same.
  • Build trustworthy relationships with our institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken can generate value for them.
  • Partner up with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development teams to provide market intelligence, develop new product features and leverage competitive advantages.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and enhance Kraken’s institutional brand presence.
  • Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite of products, services and company’s value to new and existing clients.

Skills you should HODL

  • Over 5 years of expertise in institutional sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a crypto firm selling custody and/or staking products to an institutional client base.
  • As a complete degen, you have a deep knowledge and understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, including its players, frameworks, and market dynamics beyond blue-chip tokens.
  • A robust personal network within the financial and crypto landscapes, with a particular focus on institutional and corporate clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis and identify innovative solutions.
  • Passion about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends.
  • Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document.
  • Located in Europe with fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.
