Lead Event Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the event management team, providing guidance, support and direction to ensure seamless event execution and team success
- Organise different types of company events – conferences, presentations, training and team-building events
- Plan offline and online events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Coordinate event participation operations - prepare adequate tasks for builders, contractors and agencies on accommodation and logistics
- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations for events
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Utilise social media and digital marketing strategies to promote events
- Collaborate with internal teams to align event objectives with overall marketing goals
- Evaluate and select event venues based on budget, location, and capacity
- Communicate with international event organisers and manager paperwork accordingly
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers, contractors
- Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
- Conduct all preparational work with external event organisers and the team
- Lead promotional activities for the event and supervise all staff
- Be in charge of hiring personnel for side events (DJs, waiters etc.)
- Prepare relevant announcements and presentations for the events
- Order advertising and promotional materials, merchandise and all necessary requisite in any country of the world and control delivery processes
- Attend regular business trips
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
Requirements:
- C-1 English level, additional language is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in organising events and preparation for participation in conferences and expo
- Successful experience in international marketing events organisation (conferences, seminars)
- Proficiency in event management software and tools
- Knowledge of virtual event platforms for hybrid events
- Experience in managing sponsor relationships and partnerships
- Understanding of data analytics to measure event ROI
- Experience and/or interest in the Fintech industry
- Creativity, analytical skills, ability to see the big picture
- Ability to self-organise and multitask
- High communication, negotiation, and cooperation skills
- Good stress tolerance, reliable and responsible
- Strong time-management skills
- Certification in event management or related field
