Job Summary

At Nuna, we're building innovative digital health experiences that make high-quality healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone. As a Lead Product Manager, you'll lead product initiatives that impact multiple teams and customer segments, defining product strategy, creating clarity in ambiguous situations, and driving execution. You'll own key digital experiences for patients, providers, and payers, influencing product direction at a strategic level. With 8+ years of experience in Product Management, including leadership of complex consumer-facing products, you'll shape the future of patient-centered digital health experiences, improve health outcomes, and drive scalable, high-impact product innovations.

At Nuna, our mission is to make high-quality healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone. We are dedicated to tackling one of our nation’s biggest problems with ingenuity, creativity, and a keen moral compass.

Nuna is committed to simple principles: a rigorous understanding of data, modern technology, and most importantly, compassion and care for our fellow human. We want to know what really works, what doesn't—and why.

YOUR TEAM

Product Managers at Nuna guide our products from concept to launch and beyond! We’re the voice of our customers within Nuna and love learning about their needs and challenges to craft better solutions. We work closely with User Experience, Engineering, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Legal, Compliance and Trust  across new and existing products at Nuna. We thrive in ambiguous situations, manage chaos with a sense of humor, and have a bias towards action that is data‐driven and purposeful.

We're building an innovative digital experience for patients, which includes:

  • Digital Care Team: Imagine an AI-powered resource that can communicate with patients in their native language, answering questions about their care plans. This capability bridges the gap between patients and their healthcare needs, providing support and information at their fingertips.
  • Behavioral Economics in Action: We're leveraging the principles of behavioral economics and gamification to encourage healthy habits. Our product allows patients to track and manage daily health activities with engaging, proactive nudges. It's healthcare that's not only smart but also fun and rewarding.
  • Financial Incentives: Patients can earn financial rewards by completing health activities and achieving specific outcomes. This approach motivates and supports patients in their journey towards better health.
  • Diverse Population Focus: Our initiatives target a wide range of populations, including those with hypertension, diabetes, and general wellness needs. We're also committed to Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) screening, with future partnerships that will expand our reach and impact.

As a Lead Product Manager, you will lead product initiatives that impact multiple teams and customer segments. You will define product strategy, create clarity in ambiguous situations, and work cross-functionally to drive execution. You will own key digital experiences for patients, providers, and payers while influencing product direction at a strategic level.

YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

  • Own and drive the vision and strategy for a significant product domain, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Identify and solve complex, high-impact problems that require navigating ambiguity and cross-functional collaboration
  • Leverage deep customer and market insights to define, prioritize, and execute product capabilities using a test-measure-learn approach
  • Develop robust outcome measurement frameworks to track and optimize patient engagement, provider efficiency, and health outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute efficiently, aligning Engineering, Data Science, Actuarial Science, and Business teams
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, providing clear rationale for prioritization and roadmap decisions
  • Mentor and support Senior Product Managers, helping to elevate the team’s execution and strategic thinking

Potential Impact

  • Shape the future of patient-centered digital health experiences.
  • Improve health outcomes and engagement for diverse patient populations.
  • Drive scalable, high-impact product innovations that define industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, including leadership of complex consumer-facing products
  • Proven track record of driving high-impact, data-driven product decisions at scale (1M+ users)
  • Prior experience designing and implementing large-scale behavior change initiatives, leveraging engagement strategies like gamification, incentives, or behavioral economics
  • Experience in 0 to 1 product development in fast-paced startup environments
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with a bias toward action
  • Expertise in experimentation methodologies (A/B, multivariate testing)
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in AI-powered digital experiences, gamification, or behavioral economics
  • Experience in scaling healthcare or fintech products with regulatory considerations
  • Previous experience leading PM teams or playing a key role in shaping product culture
