This role will be fully remote through August 2025 with the expectation that employees will begin working 2 days per week in our dedicated office space in San Francisco starting September 2025. 

About the Role

Our Dolly Moving team is looking for an experienced Mobile Software Engineer who specializes in iOS or Android native mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering value to customers. 

As a Mobile Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for thoughtfully delivering features using either Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java. You balance development speed against technical excellence to improve the technical system while continuing to deliver business value.

What You'll Work On:

  • Feature Implementation - Iteratively building out new features within our native apps. 
  • Delivering projects - Including scoping, planning, breaking down into discrete tasks, execution with the team, successful release, and long-term monitoring.
  • Technical Design  - Understanding how your code fits into the broader technical context.
  • Product Partner - Being a thought partner for our product team in the feasibility of requested features, clarifying requirements where necessary.

Your Areas Of Expertise:

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience with native mobile app development either in iOS or Android

Compensation & Benefits: 

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable.  total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is $96,000- $134,000 This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
