The ideal candidate will have an experience-rich background in full-stack engineering and DevOps principles, will care as much about what is built as how it's built, and knows that true innovation is fostered in a collaborative team environment of empowered engineers. As a Principal Engineer, you will work closely with other engineers, product management, and support to deliver biweekly product releases to help our customers centrally automate the backup, compliance, and change management processes of their IT network and security estate.
Qualities you possess…
- 7+ years experience in software engineering, with at least 1 year in a senior engineer and/or lead role
- 3+ years experience with REST APIs
- 3+ years DevOps (CI/CD) experience and/or SRE
- 2+ years RDBMS design and implementation experience
Preferred tech stack:
- Primary: Golang
- Secondary: Python, Lua
- Front-end: React, Typescript
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, SSH, switching, routing, firewalls, etc)
