Job Summary

Nuna aims to make high-quality healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone. As a Principal Product Manager, you'll define and drive the strategic vision for Nuna's most complex product areas, leading cross-functional initiatives that shape the long-term roadmap and business strategy. You'll tackle highly ambiguous problems with a structured approach, develop innovative patient engagement models, and influence executive leadership. With 10+ years of Product Management experience required, you'll have expertise in defining product vision, leading strategy, and aligning cross-functional teams. The role offers opportunities to shape the future of patient-centered digital health experiences, improve health outcomes, and drive scalable product innovations.

At Nuna, our mission is to make high-quality healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone. We are dedicated to tackling one of our nation’s biggest problems with ingenuity, creativity, and a keen moral compass.

Nuna is committed to simple principles: a rigorous understanding of data, modern technology, and most importantly, compassion and care for our fellow human. We want to know what really works, what doesn't—and why.

YOUR TEAM

Product Managers at Nuna guide our products from concept to launch and beyond! We’re the voice of our customers within Nuna and love learning about their needs and challenges to craft better solutions. We work closely with User Experience, Engineering, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Legal, Compliance and Trust  across new and existing products at Nuna. We thrive in ambiguous situations, manage chaos with a sense of humor, and have a bias towards action that is data‐driven and purposeful.

We're building an innovative digital experience for patients, which includes:

  • Digital Care Team: Imagine an AI-powered resource that can communicate with patients in their native language, answering questions about their care plans. This capability bridges the gap between patients and their healthcare needs, providing support and information at their fingertips.
  • Behavioral Economics in Action: We're leveraging the principles of behavioral economics and gamification to encourage healthy habits. Our product allows patients to track and manage daily health activities with engaging, proactive nudges. It's healthcare that's not only smart but also fun and rewarding.
  • Financial Incentives: Patients can earn financial rewards by completing health activities and achieving specific outcomes. This approach motivates and supports patients in their journey towards better health.
  • Diverse Population Focus: Our initiatives target a wide range of populations, including those with hypertension, diabetes, and general wellness needs. We're also committed to Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) screening, with future partnerships that will expand our reach and impact.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will define and drive the strategic vision for Nuna’s most complex and impactful product areas. You will lead cross-functional initiatives that shape our long-term roadmap and business strategy while solving some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare.

At this level, you are a thought leader who influences executive decision-making, mentors the next generation of PMs, and ensures our digital experiences drive meaningful patient and provider outcomes. You thrive in ambiguity, can see around corners, and are deeply customer- and data-driven.

YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

Bring your expertise in Product Management and leverage  professional concepts to lead the team in resolving critical issues. Bring strategic leadership  capabilities to help steer and company direction and impact current and future business success.

  • Define and drive strategy for multi-product initiatives with broad impact across Nuna’s ecosystem
  • Tackle highly ambiguous, high-stakes problems with a structured and analytical approach
  • Develop innovative patient engagement models that integrate AI, behavioral economics, and financial incentives
  • Influence executive leadership, articulating how product strategy aligns with company goals
  • Establish frameworks for measuring success, optimizing engagement, and scaling impact
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Actuarial teams to ensure seamless execution of product vision
  • Lead by example, mentoring Staff and Senior PMs while raising the overall execution and strategic bar for the team

Potential Impact

  • Shape the future of patient-centered digital health experiences
  • Improve health outcomes and engagement for diverse patient populations
  • Drive scalable, high-impact product innovations that define industry best practices
