The AI & Automation PMO team is looking for their next Program Manager to shape the future of AI at Twilio. The team consists of dedicated Program Managers that serve highly integrated and cross-functional product and engineering organizations to take software projects from concept to delivery, leveraging best practices to ensure predictable and timely delivery.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Be the primary point of contact to lead a portfolio of software developments project from conception to execution to monitoring
Set clear priorities for project stakeholders and effectively help them resolve prioritization conflicts. Own and drive projects to completion, on time, and with exceptional quality.
Provide consistent project updates to a wide range of stakeholders from peers to executive leadership, identifying risks and ensuring milestones are met on time
Be laser-focused on team goals and deliver accomplishments with stakeholders that meet OKRs and deliver meaningful impact
Continuously improve software performance & drive standardization on team processes and procedures via your experience and certifications as well as industry best practices
Provide exceptionally well crafted executive leadership reports on a weekly, biweekly and monthly cadence. Participate in other rhythm-of-business activities, as needed.
Use your influence and tact to drive team results and radically grow a coalition of trusted partners
Effectively drive alignment and focus cross functionally with internal stakeholders
Exchange detailed and complex business information in a comprehensive manner with an array of program teams and stakeholders.
Partner with a variety of stakeholders in Global Customer Services, Go to Market (GTM) Sales, Product Management, Efficiency Engineering, and Global Operations to get buy in and provide resourcing for critical programs and initiatives.
Foster collaboration with a cross-functional team of product owners, project managers, program managers and technical program managers and excel in meeting the right outcomes

Required:
6+ years of project and program management experience; preferably in MultiModal or Generative AI or Machine Learning
A demonstrated track record of working directly with developers to build for fast-moving organizations.
Experienced communicator and able to collaborate with diverse sets of technical, non-technical, on-site, and remote people across different teams and business functions
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and geographically diverse teams to achieve successful results
Strong business experience sufficient to write business requirements and provide thought leadership in developing technical solutions
Experience in spotting blockers and dependency problems in advance of impact and moving solutions for these blockers forward
Strong executive presence and experience building decks and presenting to executives
Strong sense of urgency and bias for action; Motivated to do or achieve something because of your own enthusiasm or interest, without needing pressure from others
Radical owner - Willing to answer for the outcomes resulting from your own choices, behaviors, and actions. Take ownership of situations that you’re involved in.
Desired:
Experience in multimodal AI, prompt engineering or ML projects
Certification in Project Management or related experience
Experience in telephony, email, messaging, social media, or other electronic communications
Experience in Customer Service and Sales
Self-starter mentality that brings solutions with problems

Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 5-10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C.: $104,300 - $130,300
Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $110-400 - $137-900
Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $122-600 - $153,200
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
