Rackspace is seeking a highly accomplished Program Manager to join their Public Cloud Business Operations Team. The ideal candidate will think strategically and programmatically, drive processes and consistency across the business, and deliver impactful business outcomes. They will lead programs from start to finish, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Program Manager will be responsible for planning and execution of dedicated programs, communicating program status and risk, defining success criteria, and working with cross-functional stakeholders. They should have expert-level knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and business operations, as well as excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. A minimum of 10 years of total program management experience is required, along with certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, ITIL Certification, or Project Management (PMP) Certification. The Program Manager will work in a general office environment and apply creative thinking to solve complex problems. They should be able to communicate complex information in a simplified manner and promote inclusiveness in small groups. This role requires someone who will think both at a strategic and programmatic level and be able to effectively drive processes and consistency across the business and deliver impactful business outcomes. The individual needs to be comfortable working with and engaging senior leaders while managing priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment.
The Program Manager leads a program(s) from start to finish and orchestrates across a variety of stakeholders for core deliverables. Responsible for collaboration across all program stakeholders, senior management, and the business community implementing the solution. We're looking for an individual who is a great team player, a self-starter, strategic thinker and adaptable to jumping in to solve issues and drive solutions across the business.
