Welo Data - AI Services is seeking meticulous QA Linguists for a temporary, part-time freelance data annotation project. As a QA Linguist, you will manage and mentor a team of analysts, perform linguistic QA, and ensure data accuracy and quality. This role involves collaborating with on-site team members to meet project goals while maintaining confidentiality standards. With flexible hours (20-40 hours/week) and potential contract extension based on performance, this freelance opportunity offers the chance to work on emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate has full proficiency in Egyptian and Modern Standard Arabic, Arabizi, and English, with 3+ years of experience in linguistics or a related field.

Qualifications
- Full proficiency in Egyptian and Modern Standard Arabic
- Familiarity with Arabizi (informal and conversational language used in casual contexts like social media & texting)
- Advanced competency in English to follow instructions and communicate with our team
- 3+ years of experience as a linguist or in a related field, such as language research, translation, localization, or content creation, with a strong focus on language accuracy.
- Strong background in quality assurance, data annotation, team management, and data handling.
- Ability to dedicate a minimum of 15-20 hours per week to the project
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Capability to perform sufficient research within the allocated time, working within short throughputs
- Reliable computer system and internet connection
- Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect client confidentiality
