Quality Assurance Engineer
As QA Engineer you are going to play a crucial role by interacting with our squads and with the product team as well to ensure that our features meet our qualitative and quantitative standards. Your going to write tests on your own but as well train the members of our development teams to have a much better perspective on quality assurance whilst developing and will serve as a steward in terms of quality for the Websites team. 

Your responsibilities:

    • You will be responsible for the quality management of our SaaS solution in close collaboration with software engineering and product management, maintain an automation framework that will monitoring and regress the websites applications
    • You take on the creation, implementation, performance evaluation and optimization of automated test cases and act in a very structured manner
    • Due to your expertise in the area of quality assurance, you can determine very well which tools (Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Spock, etc.) or methods can be used and effectively used and are at your colleagues' side as a QA expert at any time, maintaining a high level of test coverage across the different websites
    • You are going to determine and improve strategy and acceptance criteria for our features together with internal stakeholders - Making them see things from a testers' perspective, contributing to and hitting the team's velocity every sprint
    • You attach great importance to smooth QA processes and contribute to their continuous optimization

Your profile:

    • Your communication skills in English are excellent  
    • You have at least 5 years of  experience in software engineering, in which you focussed for a significant amount of time on testing automation in an agile / SCRUM environment
    • You already gained experience with some of the following technologies: TestNG, Junit, Spock, Selenium, and some of the JVM-based technologies additionally tools like Jira, postman, Jenkins / Gitlab, Jmeter
    • In the past, you already planned, executed and improved testing strategies in a fast-growing environment
    • You like to share your knowledge with your peers, ideally, that will make your life much easier by turning them into some kind of testers themselves
