The Athletic is seeking an experienced Sales Director to help expand its Advertising business. As a key member of the Brand Partnerships sales team, you will drive ad revenue via client direct and agency relationships in the technology space. You will own the end-to-end sales process for new sourcing, developing, and partnering with new ad partners. Responsibilities include managing a book of business, identifying new ad partners, driving advertising revenue across platforms, defining strategies, and representing The Athletic brand well. The role is based remotely for candidates in the New York City Metro Area to meet with ad agencies and clients. The annual base salary range is $150,000 - $170,000 USD, with comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k retirement savings plan, paid time off, and more.
