As a Sales Engineer at Perforce, you will work closely with account executives to develop strategies to obtain new customers and drive revenue growth. You will lead pre-sales engineering activities, including technical discovery, RFP responses, and architectural guidance. Your responsibilities will also include supporting marketing activities, working with cross-functional teams, and moderating travel. With a strong track record of success in Pre-Sales Engineering and software testing, you will be expected to communicate effectively and present complex technical concepts to clients. Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the account executives to develop a strategy to obtain new customers and drive expansion to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
- Lead pre-sales engineering activities including technical discovery, RFP responses, technical presentations, architectural guidance, sales support and ongoing client relationships.
- Support Marketing activities by participating in trade shows, reviewing documentation for technical accuracy and hosting introductory webinars as needed.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing support and success for our customers.
- Moderate travel required
Requirements:
- Experience in Pre-Sales Engineering/Solutions Consultant in a SaaS environment
- Domain expert in software testing
- Strong track record of success working with Account Executives to exceed quota
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A combination hands on experience in:
- Programming: Java, C#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript
- Automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Espresso, XCUitest, JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, K6)
- CI servers – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitrise, Git pipelines, etc
- SaaS based network & security
